Want to join the Brighton Curling Club for the second half of the season?

We have some openings in some of our leagues, so we are opening up our online registration!

We have a league specifically for rookies, taking place on Monday evenings from 7 to 9 pm – perfect for those in their first two years of the sport!

We have lots of other leagues too, including a junior program taking place on Sunday afternoons between 1 and 3 pm.

Registration for the Winter Session will be open online Sunday December 7 at 8 am until Tuesday December 9 at 6 pm. Go to our website at BrightonCurlingClub.ca to do so.

To register in-person at the club, go to our lounge (upstairs) this Sunday December 7 between 11 am and 1 pm – someone from our membership team will be there to help with registration and to process payments.

Methods of payment:

- cash, cheque, or debit (we do not take credit cards at this time)

Payment deadline is January 19. We reserve the right to charge a late fee of $50 if the deadline is not met.

All leagues are on a first come, first served basis.

To keep the club running, we rely on volunteers!  We ask for 4 hours per year from our adult members. If you want to volunteer but haven’t done so by the middle of the winter session, we will contact you regarding what volunteer options are still available.

The choice to opt out of doing volunteer hours is always available – the cost to do so is $40.

In 2024, Nancy Sheppard and Caroline Watt accomplished the unthinkable!  They won the National Stick Curling Championship Women's Division.  It was the first time any Ontario team (women's, men's or mixed) had made the podium.

On December 16, the Brigton & District Curling Club celebrated our newest group of Adult Learn To Curlers! With just one more make-up session in early January, this group of keeners will be ready for the Rookie League which starts on Monday January 20, 2024. View the photo album.

A BIG thank you goes to Louise Lance for cheerfully organizing the program and leading the three dozen rookies: to Lisa Donovan for her technical expertise, and: to all twelve volunteers who came out each week to help!

Curlers in their first two years of the sport should mark March 22 on their calendars -- that's the date of the Rookie Bonspiel, and it's open to teams from other clubs too. (Tell your friends!)
